Precept 2025/26

Limpley Stoke Parish Council voted at its December meeting to increase the annual precept for 2025/2026 by five per cent or £3.78 per year, which equates to £79.33 for a Band D property. Last year there was a 0% increase, but costs have increased significantly this year.

The Precept, which is part of the Council Tax for the year, is a charge on each property within the parish. The Parish Council will be looking to prioritise improvements and activities, based on where it can make the biggest, positive impact with the money available.

The main areas this year will be:

● Speed reduction programmes in, and on approaches to, the village.

● Traffic calming measures throughout the village.

● Road parking review

● Play Park ongoing maintenance

● Neighbourhood Plan review and update

● Wild Water festival
